Alison Leavens

Passionate about dance in my teens and twenties, I loved the grace and elegance of movement. I was looking for another creative outlet and tried a number of art forms--I dabbled in painting, and found I love to make mosaic shrines. Then a friend of mine started making jewelry and I decided to try it too. I took to it right away. Working with my hands is a strong forte of mine. I fell in love with the beauty of semi-precious stones that dance and shine in the light.

I'm drawn to elegance and luminosity and wanted those qualities to shine through in my unique and original jewelry pieces. I spend a great deal of time designing each piece to be distinctive and special, and I pay careful attention to crafting every one to be certain that it is perfect.

My one of a kind and limited edition jewelry creations are not mass marketed in stores; they are all handmade. You can be sure that you are getting something truly original, different and of high quality. I'm dedicated to finding the right piece for each client, and to ensuring my clients' satisfaction with their purchases.

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. There I developed a deep bond with nature and the animals of the planet. In addition to my many creative pursuits, I love hiking, kayaking, gardening, & exploring natural places. I live in San Anselmo, CA with my beloved cat, Minnie.
